Materials

Tradition

Bastien makes their moccasins and mukluks by hand - there is no assembly line. In the spirit of the ancestors, each leather shoe is tailored hand to hand, using generational techniques along its journey of fabrication.

Early Spring can be warm in the sun but cold in the shade. It’s an exciting time to watch for the first flowers, and feel the Earth waking up after its long winter’s sleep. It helps to have a light and stylish pair of boots to see you through until the weather becomes truly warmer. (They’re great for fall, too!) Pair your authentic mukluks with your favourite outfit and tiptoe outdoors to connect not only with the changing season, but Canada’s Indigenous heritage as well.

In response to Sara: Here are some high-top moccasins that we have https://www.moccasinscanada.com/products/womens-moccasin-boots-cork-tan-crepe-sole

But we will take your comment into consideration when we decide to order new styles. Thanks

I am very pleased that I found The Brown Bear where they sold moccasins as I bought them years ago when I was working and this place this wonderful also and I have bought 4 pairs of mocassins already and they are so comfortable and I have 2 pairs for inside the house and 2 pairs for outside. I will continue buying from them when I need a new pair. They are quite reasonable too. You pay for what you get. I am recommending more people to buy from The Brown Bear.
    Keep up the good work!!!!!!
